The Object

For migraine days, and the nights the standard isn't enough.

The standard Mask works for most. The Premium is for the rest.

We made it after two of our wear testers, Cara and Stelios, both said the same thing six months in. The original didn't sit heavy enough on the days a migraine was coming. They wanted weight. Real weight. Something that would tell their forehead to settle.

So we doubled the lining and added a flax-shot weighted band along the brow. The Premium weighs 89 grams. The standard is 47. The difference is the kind of pressure you'd describe as a palm held there on purpose.

NHS guidance on chronic migraine mentions darkness and steady pressure as adjuncts in self-care. We make to that. We're not making a medical claim, we make a mask that helps when nothing else does.

Mei makes both versions. Same Singer 99K. The Premium takes her an extra 22 minutes per piece because the weighted band has to be hand-distributed evenly across the brow line, then tacked at four points before the satin closes over it.

Pressure on the forehead reads as soothing to most nervous systems. Deep-pressure stimulation research has been used in weighted blankets and anxiety bedding for two decades. The Premium does the same thing in a smaller piece, concentrated along the brow line, where the trigeminal nerve runs.

Weight. The standard is 47 grams. The Premium is 89, with a 42 gram flax-shot band sitting along the brow. Same satin, same cut, same lash-safe hollow center. The Premium is for migraine days or for people who like weighted blankets.

Does it help with migraines?

It helps some people. We don't make medical claims. NHS NICE guideline CG150 mentions darkness and steady pressure as adjuncts in chronic migraine self-care. If your neurologist has suggested both, the Premium is built for that.

Is it too heavy?

For some people, yes. 89 grams sits noticeably. If you've never worn a weighted blanket or you find your standard mask already heavy enough, get the standard. We offer 30-night returns either way.

Safe for side sleepers?

Yes. The weight is distributed across the brow, not the temples. The contoured nose dip lifts off the lash line on either side. Most side sleepers tell us it stays put through the night, same as the standard.

Can I machine wash the weighted band?

Yes. The flax shot is sealed in food-grade cotton sleeves and tacked at four points. Cold cycle, mesh bag, mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Never tumble dry, heat warps the elastic, and the flax doesn't like high temperatures.
