When these terms say "we" or "us," that's the company. When they say "you," that's whoever is placing an order through this website.

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are under 18, do not place an order. We may refuse or cancel any order where we have reasonable grounds to believe the customer is under 18.
The shipping address you provide must be valid and reachable by Royal Mail (UK and EU) or DHL (international). PO boxes are accepted for UK addresses only.
Putting items in your bag isn't a contract. Reaching checkout isn't either. The contract starts when we email you the order confirmation, typically within a few minutes of checkout.
Until that confirmation goes out, we can refuse the order for any reason: typically a pricing error, an out-of-stock situation we missed, a delivery address we can't ship to, or a payment that Stripe flags as potentially fraudulent. If we refuse before confirmation, no charge is captured.
All prices on this site are displayed in United States dollars (USD). The total at checkout shows the item price, applicable shipping, and any taxes for your shipping country.
UK customers: prices include UK VAT at 20% where applicable. EU customers: VAT calculated at checkout based on shipping country, included in the total under the IOSS scheme for orders below €150. US customers: no sales tax unless we are required to collect in your state, currently none. We will update this clause if that changes.
If you see a USD price displayed in another currency by your browser, that's an approximate conversion shown by your browser or card issuer; the charge is in USD at the rate Stripe uses on the day of purchase. Your card issuer may add a foreign-exchange fee, that's between you and them, not us.
If we make a pricing error on the site, a Robe shown at $19.80 instead of $198, for example, we'll email you within 24 hours of the order, refund any charge, and offer to re-place the order at the correct price. We will not fulfil at the error price. This is standard under UK contract law: an obvious mistake doesn't create a binding obligation.
All payments are processed by Stripe Inc., a payment service provider certified as PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest security standard in card processing. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Stripe.
We never see, store, or transmit your full card number. Stripe sees the card and sends us a confirmation token. This means your card data never touches Casa Hush's servers. The card details you enter at checkout go directly to Stripe's infrastructure through their secure iframe.
We don't accept bank transfers, cryptocurrency, cheques, or any payment method outside Stripe's processing. We don't offer "buy now, pay later" services like Klarna or Afterpay, every order is paid in full at checkout.
If your card is declined, the order doesn't complete. We do not re-attempt charges without your direct permission. If you'd like to retry with a different card, place a new order.
Casa Hush sells one-time purchases only. We don't run subscription boxes, auto-replenishment programmes, or recurring billing of any kind. When you order, you're charged once for that order. We will never enrol you in a recurring charge schedule. If you ever see a recurring Stripe charge claiming to be from us, contact us immediately, it's an error.
Every piece is made to order in our Covent Garden workshop. Mei begins cutting your piece within 24 hours of order confirmation. Production takes 3–7 business days depending on the item. After production, shipping times vary by region and are listed in full on our shipping page.
Shipping is by Royal Mail Tracked for the United Kingdom and European Union, and by DHL Express for the rest of the world. Both come with insurance and tracking on every parcel.
If a delay puts us more than 14 business days behind the original estimate, we'll email and offer either a refund or a continue-and-wait option. You choose.
Title to your order and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery, meaning when the parcel is handed over by the courier at your shipping address, or when it is left at the address by a courier following your delivery instructions. Until that point, the parcel is at our risk and we replace or refund any loss in transit, working with Royal Mail or DHL.
If a parcel is shown as delivered by the tracking but you cannot find it, contact us within 7 days of the reported delivery. We'll work with the courier to locate it. If it cannot be located after 14 days, we replace or refund.
30 nights from delivery. You can sleep on the mask, wear the robe, use the pillowcase, wash any piece once, then return it for refund or exchange. We don't require a reason.
UK return shipping is on us, we email a Royal Mail Tracked Returns label on request. International customers pay return shipping (typically $15–30). Returns ship to:

Refunds process back to the original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving the return at the workshop. Stripe then takes 3–10 business days to clear the refund into your account, depending on your bank and card issuer.
For bundles like the Ritual Set, you can return one piece or all three. Refund is prorated by the bundle's individual prices.
If you choose exchange instead of refund, we cut the replacement piece and ship within 5 business days of receiving the return. No additional shipping charge for the exchange.
Items that cannot be returned: orders we've custom-cut to your specifications outside our standard sizes (rare, applies only if you specifically requested a non-standard cut at order time). Everything else, including made-to-order pieces in our standard catalogue, qualifies for the 30-night return.
If something is wrong with your order, please contact us at help@casahush.com before initiating a chargeback through your card issuer. We can almost always resolve the issue faster than a chargeback can, typically within one or two emails.
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may be disputed by us with Stripe. We provide Stripe with the order details, delivery confirmation from Royal Mail or DHL, and a record of any communication. If the chargeback was filed in error (the item was delivered, the customer received what they ordered, no fraud occurred), Stripe typically rules in our favour.
If you genuinely believe you've been charged in error, fraudulently, or that we are unresponsive, file a chargeback with your card issuer, that's your right. We recommend trying email first because the timeline is faster.
If your order arrives damaged in transit, photograph the outer packaging before opening and email us within 48 hours. We replace or refund at our cost, no return needed.
If we shipped the wrong piece (we have, twice in the past two years, we apologised both times), we replace at our cost and send a prepaid return label for the wrong piece. You don't have to ship the wrong piece back if you'd rather keep it.
If a piece develops a manufacturing defect within 12 months of purchase, seam failure, dye release, elastic that breaks under normal use, we repair or replace at our cost. After 12 months, we offer repair at materials cost only. Email a photo and we'll quote.
We describe what each piece actually is. The Mask is duchess satin (heavyweight polyester satin), not silk. The Silk Pillowcase is mulberry silk at 22 momme. We measure weights, count threads, and test materials at independent labs where the numbers matter. If we say 99% blackout, an independent lab confirmed 99% blackout at 500 lux source.
Colour matching across screens is imperfect. Our Charcoal looks slightly different on iPhone vs. MacBook vs. a calibrated print monitor. We do our best to show true colour in the product photography. If a piece arrives and the colour is meaningfully different from what you expected, the 30-night return covers that.
Sizes are stated in centimetres and inches. Robe and Kimono sizes are based on UK womenswear sizing (S 6–10, M 10–14, L 14–20). We don't currently offer petite or tall variants, we can sometimes adjust during production if you ask within 48 hours of ordering.
Casa Hush sells home textiles, sleep masks, pillowcases, robes, sheets, throws, and bedding. We don't sell anything else through this site. We never resell or transfer your order to a third party for fulfilment.
We won't process orders that appear to violate Stripe's restricted business policy or that we have reasonable grounds to suspect are fraudulent. Stripe's automated fraud detection may also block certain orders before they reach us; if that happens, you'll see the decline at checkout and we won't be charged for the attempt.
Everything on this site, text, photography, the Casa Hush wordmark, product names ("The Mask," "The Silk Pillowcase," "The Ritual Set"), the descriptive copy comparing materials and momme weights, is owned by Casa Hush Ltd or licensed to us. You're welcome to share product photography on social media with credit. You can't use our copy, imagery, or product names for commercial purposes without written permission.
Our products themselves are not patented. Anyone can make a duchess satin sleep mask. We hope they do it well.
If something goes wrong, wrong item, defective piece, late shipping, cancelled order, our maximum liability is the amount you paid for the affected order, plus any reasonable return shipping costs we asked you to cover.
We don't owe you damages for inconvenience, emotional cost, lost business, or indirect consequences of any order issue. UK consumer protection law (Consumer Rights Act 2015), EU consumer rights, and US consumer-protection laws remain in force regardless of what this paragraph says, none of this limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
We don't make medical claims. The Mask Premium mentions migraine relief because customers tell us it helps them; we cite NHS guidance on darkness and steady pressure as adjuncts in self-care. Nothing we make is a medical device. If you have a medical condition that requires specific bedding or sleep accessories, consult your clinician.
If we can't fulfil an order because of an event outside our reasonable control, Royal Mail strikes, DHL operational failures, fires or floods at the workshop, public health emergencies, government-imposed shipping restrictions, war, civil unrest, supply chain failures affecting fabric availability, we'll email you, explain the situation, and offer a full refund or a continue-and-wait option. You choose.
We're not liable for delays caused by force majeure events. We are liable for honest communication about them.
If we have a dispute, the first step is email, write to help@casahush.com and let us try to fix it. Most issues resolve in one or two messages.
If we can't resolve through email, the next step depends on where you are:
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. English courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. "Non-exclusive" means you can also bring the dispute in your home country's courts if local consumer law permits, we won't object to your local jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable by a court, say, a court rules that one clause violates local consumer law, the rest of these terms remain in force. The unenforceable part gets replaced with whatever the law requires; everything else continues unchanged.
These terms, along with our privacy policy and shipping page, are the entire agreement between you and Casa Hush regarding your order. Anything one of us said in email or elsewhere doesn't override these terms unless we both agree to it in writing.
If we change anything material, refund window, dispute resolution, return conditions, payment processing partner, we update the "Last updated" date at the top and email anyone with an order placed in the last 6 months. Minor changes (a phone number, a postal address, fixing a typo) we just update silently.
Orders already placed are governed by the terms in effect on the date of order confirmation. If we change terms after you've ordered, the change doesn't apply to your existing order, only to new orders placed after the change.
